The End of an Era

We are very sad to announce that, after more than 30 years, our Plainfield Farmstand is closing permanently. While we had made plans to reopen for 2025, that will not be possible. The farm that it was located on was sold in 2024 for housing use, but progress on development was rapid enough that the corner our Farmstand occupies has been slated for demolition soon. 

But all is not lost! We love our Plainfield customers, and want to remind you all that our Oswego Farmstand at 2500 Johnson Road is just a quick 10-minute drive west from the Plainfield location. That drive is even easier now with the recent direct connection of 143rd Street, just north of the Plainfield Farmstand location, to Johnson Road. We hope you will take an extra few minutes to make our Oswego location your destination for sweet corn, produce, and many more seasonal offerings. 

Thank you to everyone who patronized our Plainfield Farmstand over the years! We will miss seeing you there – but look forward to welcoming you to our Oswego farm!
