BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:

Can I bring my pet to the farm or farmstands?

For the safety of customers and our animals on the farm, we do not allow pets.

Do I need a reservation for fall activities on the Oswego farm?

You do not need a reservation to visit our Oswego Farmstand! However, advance tickets for our Fall Festivities will be available and may be purchased at a discount ahead of time. Learn more about that here. There are no pre-purchase tickets for apple picking – simply purchase your apple bags at the Apple Barn when you arrive at the Oswego farm. And there are no tickets required at all for pumpkin picking, wagon rides, or Farmstand shopping!

During the summer, I earned a free Fall Festivities coupon from my local library. How do I use it?

Simply present the library coupon to the cashier at the ticket booth. We are only accepting coupons issued during the current year. Library coupons are for kids only, ages 5-12 years. Children 4 and under admitted free. Children 12 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult with a paid wristband/ticket.

When is your children's play area open?

TAKING US HOME:

How should I store my apples and pumpkins?

Store apples in as cool a location as possible (without freezing them). If refrigerating, you can keep them in the apple bag you used to pick them. The most important tip for pumpkin storage is to keep them dry. Any surface that is moist will rot the pumpkin from the bottom up. Never store apples and pumpkins together in the same location. Apples emit ethylene gas, which causes pumpkins to rot.

Do your donuts freeze well?

Yes, they freeze well! We suggest placing them in a sealable plastic bag. Double-bagging will reduce risk of freezer burn. Reheating: Remove donuts from plastic shell. Place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on HIGH. Microwaves can vary so please check donuts throughout reheating process. One donut - 7 to 10 seconds, 1/2 dozen - 1 minute & 15 seconds, one dozen - 2 minutes & 30 seconds. Our donuts taste great on cold, winter mornings so plan ahead by freezing them in the fall!

Can I freeze apple cider?

Yes! Remove about 8oz out of the gallon before freezing to allow for expansion.

How do I freeze your delicious fudge?

Place fudge tub in a sealable plastic bag and put in freezer. Easy!

OTHER:

Could I set up a booth at your location to offer a service or product to your customers?

No, we do not allow this anywhere on our property, at any of our locations.

Do you offer special rates when buying large quantities?

No, we do not offer bulk or wholesale rates. However, if you require large quantities of an item we sell, we can work with you to try to ensure the quantity you need is available on the date you require for pickup. Of course, many items we sell (sweet corn, apples, pumpkins) are subject to the whims of Mother Nature, and we may not know large quantity availability if you are inquiring many weeks prior to your event.
